Mashed potatoes for this special occasion
- 5 large potatoes (washed)
- 1⁄2 cup butter or 1⁄2 cup margarine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1⁄2 cups milk
- 1 1⁄2 cups chicken gravy
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Bake the potatoes and when ready, mash them in a mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and keep mashing them until they are creamy. Serve topped with country gravy or gravy of choice.
This was really great! It turned out to be really savory. I made a few adjustments to the amout but it was delicious. Thanks!
