This has become one of our favorite side dishes at Thanksgiving. My brother wants me to make a pie with this as the filling. I might give it a try one year.

This is delicious. And soooo easy. I made it for Thanksiving and it was a hit! I'll make it for Christmas, too. Also delicious on Vanilla ice cream.

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until thick.
  3. (about 15 minutes) Stir occasionally.
  4. Cool completely.
  5. This can be made 1 or 2 days in advance or just bring it room temp and eat it while it is still warm.
  6. Either way it is very tasty.
