Thai Marinade for Pork Chops

These chops are delicious and tender.

• Total Time: 20 mins
• Prep Time: 5 mins
• Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients:

Servings: 4

• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon orange juice
• ½ cup soya sauce
• 1 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger
• 2 cloves crushed garlic
• 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
• ¼ teaspoon black pepper
• 1 bay leaf
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 4 -6 pork steaks or 4 -6 pork chops

Directions:

1. Mix all marinade ingredients together.
2. Pour over pork chops or pork steaks.
3. Marinade for 4-24 hours.
4. Broil or grill as usual.

This just got rave reviews from my guests. I had the chops in the marinade for over a day so the flavours were well infused. I also pounded some whole pepercorns into the meat before grilling. The chops came out excellent. This would be good with other meats too, I'm sure. Thanks for this posting.

This was only okay. The soy sauce flavor was way to strong. I would highly recommend using reduced salt soy sauce as my pork came out way to salty (I don't like to use a lot of salt). I cooked my pork in the oven cover with foil and that could have added to the strong soy sauce taste.

If I were to try this again I would probably grill but I don't think that I am going to try this again.
