These are great! Definitely use the hot pepper jack cheese. I thought the amount of curry pwd was just right, but you may want to start w/ 1 tsp and more to taste. Yummy hot or cold. This is a pillsbury bakeoff recipe from a few yrs ago - the 'potsticker' title was just meant as a play on words.
These do not resemble Pot Stickers AT ALL. Took a lot of adjustments to make them even taste good. Cusinart together all ingredients add more peanut butter and some cream cheese for consistency and a bit of maple syrup. Did use the Pepper Jack. Cut each cresent into thirds and make snack size servings then they are okay.
These were fun to eat! I used the same measurements that flower7 used. Next time I will use two cans of crescent rolls, as I had extra filling, and we were fighting over these four. They were good even without the mango chutney. Thank you Asha.
Delicious! I just had to try these because of how unique they sounded, and because we enjoy sampling fusion cuisine. We were very impressed with how they came out. Like the previous reviewer, I reduced the amount of carrot due to how full the sandwiches were already. I used hot pepper cheese and ground ginger. Thanks for sharing!
Wow these are fantastic! Very different from things I usually make. I made a couple adjustments to ingredient amounts - 1/2 tsp less curry, 1/2 tsp less ginger (I used powder though I wasn't sure if I should have used fresh), and just 1 shredded carrot (about 1/2 cup). The sandwiches were stuffed very full so I'm not sure how another cup of carrots would have fit. I did use hot pepper jack cheese. The only other change was to use Gingered Rhubarb Chutney to serve along side. Delicious! Thanks so much for the recipe!
