I didn't think it could ever happen, but after 25 years of marriage, my husband's favorite dish has changed. THIS is the only recipe in the past quarter century that tops his childhood fave.

Too fast for words, and amazing flavor! I bought a massive box of Texas Toast at our local Sam's Club, and now keep pizza sauce stocked in the fridge as well. Anyone in the family who is in dire need of a filling meal or snack can make a portion just for themselves in minutes.

This pizza was easy to make and you can add any toppings you choose. My 10 year old made this for dinner and served it along with cottage cheese and a salad. He said he felt proud watching everyone including his 6 year old brother eat and enjoy dinner. He made pepperoni, cheese and canadian bacon. I liked the flavors so well, I will probably place on a regular pizza crust and add garlic powder.

Very good and easy-- my 4 year-old and I just made these for lunch. I needed a way to use up some Texas Toast, and this was perfect. I toasted the bread instead of baking it, then popped them under the broiler as directed after topping with pepperoni, mushrooms, and cheese. I'll keep this recipe in mind in the future- thanks for sharing!
