  • Whisk sugar, vinegar, and oil to blend in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and toss to combine. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cover tightly and refrigerate at least 4 hours, tossing occasionally. (Can be prepared 2 days ahead. Keep refrigerated.).

  1. Great taste can be simple. Nothing complicated about this recipe but the dressing is very good. Left out the peppers as I didn't have any and don't particularly want them in my coleslaw.
     
  2. This is delicious! I made it just as the recipe calls, only I doubled it. It is the perfect alternative to Cole Slaw, that I was looking for. I'm bringing it to a Memorial Day pool party, today, and it's sure to be a hit! (As long as I can keep out of it until then :-) )

  4. Great salad! Love that there's no mayo in this! It's simple and quick to assemble. Made as directed except omitted bell peppers and added a bit of salt. Jim requested this to be added to our regular rotation!
     
  5. We really love thi cole slaw. I don't care for creamy slaw and this is wonderful. I add some celery seed to mine which adds that extra little something. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
