I was looking for a quick dessert to make for unexpected company for supper and saw this posted on the boards. This recipe is great and makes a huge cookie sheet which allowed me to send a whole pile of it home with my bachelor brother in law so he thanks you for this recipe too! I served this with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and then drizzled it with chocolate sauce and it was a terrific, easy, and fast dessert! I ended up using a combonation of brown sugar and white sugar as I didn't have enough brown sugar, but it turned out fine. I used recipe 22881 as the sweetened condensed milk. I really liked the moistness of this cake and it even tasted better the next day!! Thanks for posting this!

A family favorite for a long time. Made it for our neighborhood picnic and it was a big hit. I served it also with vanilla ice cream which the children loved. This recipe really serves a big crowd.

This is just to die for! I made it in a 8x13 baking tin as I wasn't sure what a jelly roll pan is...but otherwise I followed the recipe exactly as stated. Delicious!

My husband is a teacher and this was the first week back. He said everyone was dragging and how hard it was to get back into the routine. So, after reading your recipe, it sounded like the perfect pick-me-up for the staff. He said that after he put the word out via email, it was totally gone in 15 minutes! Everyone raved on how moist it was. I agree it's even better the second day (saved a couple of pieces for me). Thank you so much for such an easy, delicious recipe!

Great recipe here, that I have made several times in the past...with the exception of, I normally use buttermilk in place of the sweetened condensed milk. I can't tell much difference in the taste, but I would have these ingredients on hand, more likely than the version w/buttermilk. Easy to put together, and tastes just wonderful. Sent this to work w/BF for a coworkers birthday, and they ate the entire sheet. Good stuff!
