We use ground turkey products quite often. This is a recipe that I found on the Jennie-O Turkey Store site with a few changes to make this a one-dish meal. A great dish for a family with hungry teen age boys.

  1. Crumble sausage into a large skillet, discard casings.
  2. Add onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin and cook over medium-high heat 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add tomoatoes, picante sauce, and oregano; bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until thickened.
  5. Add cooked spaghetti and stir well.
  6. Serve with shredded cheese at table.

Very nice recipe, quick to make and tasty! I used hot turkey sausage and macaroni as that's what I had on hand; I left out the onions as I don't care for them. Great easy meal using ingredients I always have on hand - thanks for sharing the recipe!

This was a nice change from the usual spaghetti dinners we have. I added a large minced jalepeno to the simmering sauce and it really packed a punch. This was a healthy meal that came together quick. Thanks for posting.
