This is very good. I use diced tomatoes instead of sauce. While pork shoulder is clearly the best cut of meat to use, I have also used pork loin or tenderloin if either is on sale.
I like this! A cross between BBQ pulled pork and carnitas. I used only 1 tablespoon chili powder and a pork shoulder roast. I served them like tacos in soft corn tortillas with sour cream and lettuce.
Have made thie several times and always turns out awesome !!!!<br/>Thank You !!!!
Fantastic-turnd out great. Made it as a date night dinner-Thanks
Barb I have tried several of your recipes and I am never disappointed. This pulled pork recipe is wonderful! The aroma while irt is cooking makes your mouth water and then when you bite into it Mmmmm. I used a well trimmed part of a leg roast. Cut the recipe back to 2 servings - All went well - 6 hours on low. Will make this one again and again
My husband says "Heaven has appeared here on earth...pork!" He loved this (I myself am not a fan of pork, but it was on sale so I decided to try this recipe). I did not have barbeque sauce, so I used a cup of salsa. I also used only one can of green chilis and forgot the cinnamon and cilantro. This cooked on high for 3 hours, then on low for the last hour. This will come in handy for lunches this week. Thanks Barb for the recipe!
Wonderful! Easy and great-tasting. I had it on bread with lots of shredded lettuce & tomato & (no-fat) sour cream on top. It just doesn't get any better than this.
Delicious and perfect for a no-work supper! We had this on hamburger buns with chips. Can't wait to mix the leftovers in with leftover rice for another no-work meal! Thanks for sharing this busy day meal keeper recipe. We will be having this again soon!
