directions

 • In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, cumin, chili powder and salt. Add the oil and mix well. Rub the pork chops with the mixture. (You can do this step and keep them in the fridge until the next day).
 • Preheat the bbq to medium heat. Lightly oil the grill. Put the pork chops on the grill. Close the cover of the bbq. Cook 5 to 7 minutes or until that the pork is a little bit pink inside. (turn the pork chops at mid cooking).

 1. These were delicious and so flavorful! Used boneless thick pork chops and they turned out great. Served with mashed potatoes and veggies, wow!

 2. I was really pleasantly surprised by this recipe! I used a touch less salt, but otherwise kept everything else the same. I let the meat marinate for about 2 hours, then cooked the chops on the stove top and they came out great. I usually like really spicy food and these were not spicy, but still so tasty. (Can always throw some cayenne in there next time!) Definitely a keeper, and so easy to make. Thanks!

 3. Delicious taste - we enjoyed with mashed potato, corn on the cob and asparagus. The only thing we may do different next time is exchange half the chili powder with cayenne pepper to add a flavour change. Was certainly enough heat for us. Thanks Boomette!

 4. My wife and I usually both like a recipe, or both do not, but we disagreed totally on this one.

I thought it was excellent, she didn't like it at all, said, "Don't make that again."

 5. Yummy! Loved this simple dish. Served with jalapeno mashed potatoes and sauteed zucchini for a nice meal. Thanks Boomette for a nice keeper. Made for Cookbook Tag.
