  • Cook pasta and set aside.
  • Fry sausage, slice in circles and set aside.
  • Sautee onion, garlic and peppers in a little oil until soft.
  • Add spices and cook 1 minutes, add tomatoes and simmer 15 minutes.
  • Add pasta, 1/2 of the cheese, corn, beans and sausage.
  • Pour into 9x13 pan, top with remainder of cheese and bake covered at 350 for 20 minutes, uncover and bake 5 minutes longer.

  2. Found this while looking for something a little different. This was beautiful coming out of the oven and couldn't wait to dig in. The only thing different was I used a whole lb of smoked sausage, my guys like meat!

  4. Very good! My husband liked this a lot. I used canned diced tomatoes (drained) instead of whole tomatoes and I omitted the parsley. This recipe made a huge amount--way more than 4 servings in my opinion. Would be good for freezing.
     
  5. Love recipes like this! Great flavor, hearty, and serves a bunch. This would make great potluck fare.
