I have never tried this, but have a bottle of sorghum in my pantry from our food swap (2), so I needed to find some uses for it! This site is a great way to store recipes I want to try!

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 pie crust, in pie pan (9 inch)
  • 5 eggs
  • 13 cup sugar
  • 1 14 cups pure sorghum molasses

Directions

  1. In a bowl beat eggs until smooth.
  2. Add sugar along with sorghum, and beat for 1 more minute.
  3. Pour sorghum mixture into pie shell.
  4. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  5. Let cool before serving.
