Teriyaki Marinade for London Broil

"My mother-in-law made this for dinner one night and I just had to have the recipe. It made the most tender London Broil. Plan to marinate overnight. Prep time includes marinating time."

  1. Using light soy sauce was a great idea and didn't compromise the taste. Nice way to tenderize those tougher cuts of meat like Top Of The Round and London Broil!

  2. Yummy & Easy. great with the jalapeno in it. I I grilled this up tonight and was apprehensive about using london broil but it was tender and flavorfull. Thanks

  3. I was slightly disappointed with this marinade. I expected it to taste better based on the other reviews. It was a bit too salty and not sweet enough for my taste. I suspected it might be too salty ,considering the large amount of teriyaki and soy but I went against my better judgement and made it anyway. It wasn't tender as everyone said either. I'll keep looking for a better marinade. I will say I thought the leftovers tasted better the next day, than the first night we grilled it. I found it unusual to use soy and teryaki-what's the reasoning behind using both? I'm surprised no one else found the meat salty. I wouldn't dare use this marinade on an expensive cut of steak-it would overpower it. I might play with this and just use teriyaki , not soy and add brown sugar , not Coke.

  4. I loved this and my family did as well. i am only giving it 3 stars because I don't like the nutritional info. you aren't acually comsuming the marinade, so I am not sure how I am eating 86 calories of something that my steak sat in.... I know that it did soak into the steak but 87 cals worth hmmmm. Not only that how do you have serving size 1 then have servings :6 It is very confusing and I didn't like it... Marinades are tricky and the info wasn't clear. Tasted great, but I do count cals and I need a clear nutritional label.

  5. This was just a wonderful marinade and not just for London Broil. I used this with ribeye steaks. I cut the steak into about 2 inch pieces and marinaded them in this wonderful sauce and made kabobs with onions, red peppers and mushrooms. Absolutely wonderful. Meat was very tender and juicy. Thanks PC for a wonderful marinade I'll be using often for any beef.
