Very good all-purpose teryaki marinade for chicken or beef, but I've also used it with pork.
- 118.29 ml vegetable oil
- 236.59 ml soy sauce
- 44.37 ml brown sugar
- 3 clove garlic, crushed
- 14.79 ml grated fresh gingerroot
- 29.58 ml dry sherry
- Combine all.
- Pour over meat in zip-loc bag.
- Marinate meat 4-12 hours, refrigerated.
Great on salmon also!
I used this marinade on some rib-eyes and NY strips last night. I only had enough time to let them marinate for 2 hours, but the steaks were still full of flavor and delicious. I didn't have any sherry, so I omitted it. I will definitely use this marinade again and again!
I have marinated my mixed fresh veggies with this many many times, always to rave reviews. I use low sodium soy and half the oil. Thanks so much for posting.
