I was looking for a oil-free marinade. And this is a good one!I added some cilantro to cut the sweetness just a bit. Marinated chicken drumsticks over night. Baked in the oven. TY for posting
I tried your marinade, and it is very good,,,however just a bit sweet for me, but not for my wife...she loved it. The second time I made it, I used pineapple juice instead of orange juice and ommited the brown sugar, and added 2 teaspoons of powdered ginger. Thanks and good eats.
This marinade is great. I used it with boneless skinless chicken breasts. I let it in the marinade overnight. I had to cook it in the oven cause it was too cold outside and DH was not home to do it. But it was still great. But I'll have to try it on the barbecue. Thanks Sue. Made for Holiday tag
I used boneless chicken breast and added a little fresh ginger. This was so simple and so good. I served it over white rice, and had macaroni salad on the side. Had a Hawaiian lunch plate thing going on. It's going in my keeper file. Thank you.
ummmm!!! they were reakky yummy Sue L!! I didn't have orange juice on hand so I used Apple and guava juice instead but it worked well!! I had this with beef and marinated for about 5 hours and well flavoured!! I Served this with my favourite, rice!! Thank you Sue L, I will make it again!!!
I used this marinade on 4 pork chops. Marinated for about 1 1/2 hrs. then baked in the oven (with a little of the marinade left on). Wonderful sweet tasting sauce. Served with sweet potatoes, great combo.
Beautiful marinade. We used in on chicken drummettes and wingettes and we loved it was a nice sweet light taste be using it again thanks!
Easy to make. I didnt used just a bit of powdered ginger. I marinated my chicken for about 1 hour and it was flavorful enough for me. Thanks for the recipe.
Scrumptious,Teriyaki marinade, I used Flank Steak for the meat let it marinate for several hours. Was so tender and delicious. Made it just like the recipe said used 4 cloves of garlic, yum. I only used about half of the marinade so will use the rest later on chicken. Thanks, Sue for the recipe.
