Yum is right for this recipe! I doubled this and served it with an Asian inspired theme for our dinner. I stir-fried the asparagus in the olive oil and when tender-crisp added the remaining ingredients. We loved the combination of flavors. Made for ZWT6.

I cut this in half since there was only 2 of us and added about 1 T. of the cider vinegar. Overall, we just LOVED this! I steamed the asparagus in the microwave and then added the vinaigrette dressing. I topped the asparagus with the toasted almonds which made for a pretty presentation. A great addition to the grilled salmon we had. Thanks!

We served this tonight as a side to a teriyaki skewered salmon recipe. I put the asparagus, drizzled with a little olive oil, under a broiler, which turned out nice. I found the dish to be tasty, however, I agree with WI Cheesehead that the vinegar flavor was a little too strong for DH and myself. This dish was quick and easy to prepare. Thanks!

I made this for Green, Eggs, and Ham game. I steamed the asparagus in my bamboo steamer and used Stir Fry Sauce for the teriyaki sauce. I felt the vinegar flavor was a little strong for me, but otherwise, was pretty tasty!

Asparagus was very expensive at my food store this week so I used fresh string beans instead and followed your recipe to a T. They came out delicious and I got rave reviews. Will definitely make again with either the string beans or asparagus when it goes on sale.

I also toasted the almonds before making the sauce. The asparagus cooled down to room temperature before we finished the meal and it tasted good - I am taking the chilled leftovers to have for lunch tomorrow. My husband, who doesn't care for vegetables in general, took a second helping so it must be good!

Absoutely fantastic recipe!! I did toast the almonds. The flavours blended so well and made for a delicious twist on asparagus. Next time I would be tempted to thicken this sauce a little so it sticks to the asparagus more, it was so yummy!
Thanks for a terrific recipe Parsley!
