This marinated steak is great on its own, or in fajitas and quesadillas.
- 1 cup tequila
- 1⁄4 cup honey
- 2 limes, juice of
- 1 orange, juice of
- 4 garlic cloves, smashed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 1⁄2 lbs skirt steaks
- Combine all the ingredients in a resealable plastic bag. Make sure to squeeze out any air and refrigerate at least 4 hours, or up until 8.
- Prepare a grill.
- Grill steaks for 2 minutes per side for rare. Let rest for 5 minutes before cutting into strips and serving.
