Soooooo good! I used cream of chicken soup because I dont like the taste of cream of mushroom. Added 1/2 cup ketchup and 1/2 cup of sour cream. Only 1/2 can water. I put carrots and baby red potatos on bottom of crock pot. 6 boneless pork chops, and sauce on top. Cooked in crock for 8 hours on low.

This recipe suggests 30 minutes prep time--it sure didn't take me that long, especially when using unpeeled smaller red potatoes (cut up). I'm still not a big fan of recipes using creamed soups, but this one does taste good and makes almost an entire meal--very convenient when time or effort is short. While those three submitted photos look nice and clean, my gravy bubbled over in the oven. You might want to put something underneath the casserole dish. Thanks, Claudia.

Excellent. Very easy to put together and throw in the oven. I followed the suggested and seasoned the pork with seasoning salt and pepper. I found this recipe very flavorful. The pork moist and didn't end up dry, which pork can sometimes do. The potatoes were awesome and went very well with the gravy.
I can wait to eat the left overs. Will make again.

This is a great meal, in one! I add carrotts and used french onion soup instead of cream of anything, and it was a winner with everyone! My daughter complained pof the pork chops always being to dry, well not this one! It is so moist, and the veggies so flavorful. I am going to make it again tonite and add some cabbage, well see how it turns out! This is a wonderful dinner, since you have veggies, meat, and gravy all in one!

Finally, pork chops that aren't dry and boring! I didn't have brown gravy mix so I substituted onion soup mix and it worked out great. Will definitely make this again.

Great recipe that doesn't take much in prep time. I made a half recipe and the pork chops came out moist and tender. Next time, would not use season salt on the chops when browning since the end result was a tad bit saltier than I'd like, but that was my fault. I ended up baking about 1 hour 20 minutes while waiting on DH to get home. Thanks so much for posting!

Yummy! Very good. I followed the recipe as written. I seasoned the chops with seasoning salt and pepper. I put the onion, soup, gravy packet and water in the pan I cooked the chops in and cooked it a few minutes scrapping up the bits left from the chops. I then poured the mixture over the chops. I used 6 chops as that is how I have them frozen and their was still plenty of gravy. I used a can of sliced potatoes and I had a bag of shredded carrots I needed to use up so threw them in the dish also. I cooked mine for about 45 minutes and they were perfect. Everyone cleaned their plates.

While it was very easy to make, we were less than thrilled with the outcome of the pork chops. The gravy was a little too strong and it wasn't the greatest in flavor. It did however, give an excellent flavor to the potatoes.

Really good! I make something similar in the crock pot. I was surprised that the chops were not that tender though.. I will be making this again but doing it in the crock pot, I loved the flavor of the gravy. I did add some fresh mushroom slices.

Yumm! From time to time I break down and made and old fashioned comfort dinner. Boy does this fit the bill. The prep time for me was maybe 15 mins and then I just put the skillet in the oven to finish it. Only one pan to wash...ok, 2, I heated canned peas - DH's fav veg). The meat is very tender as promised and it a true man pleaser and I'm sure that the kids will enjoy it too. DH has already ask to have it again.

I really like the addition of the potatoes and onions baking right in the dish with the pork chops. The best part is how easy it is to throw it all together. Very good recipe based on both taste and ease of preparation.

WOW! I can't believe how tender these chops came out!! I went exactly to the recipe but omitted the potatoes. I served with white rice. These were so moist. I will never make my pork chops any other way! (BTW, I browned my chops with 1/2 TBS of margarine.)

These are very good and very easy to fix. I browned my 1" thick chops in olive oil and butter. McCormick Brown Gravy Mix is what was in the cupboard. So it was mixed in with the soup and I only used 3/4 can of water. Perfect gravy, I might add. Since my chop were thicker I baked them at 365 degrees and for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Just to give you an idea of how big they were, 6 chops weighed almost 5 pounds. I will be using this recipe many times in the future. Claudia, thank you for post this wonderful recipe!

Very easy to put together. I found the sauce too thin and not alot of flavour so decided to add some sage which was good. For some reason the chops were really dry but that may not be the fault of the recipe. Thx anyway.

I made this yesterday, It was so tender and delish. I did make a few changes, I used my gravy from: Denise's fat free brown gravy, I used the cream of mushroom soup, but with only 1/2 can of water, and poured over the chops, I left out the onions and potatoes, I did cover the dish with foil to cook and I served Garlic Mashed potatoes and veggies and stuffed mushrooms on the side. This is a keeper, very very good, lots of flavor

I made this recipe for my family on 5/31/07,and we all gave it a good solid four.I really loved the fact that this was a very easy to prepare and the taste was just what you would expect from old fashioned comfort food.Since my pork loin chops were a little on the thick side I baked them for about fifteen to twenty extra minutes later. And even with the extra time in the oven my veggies turned out just fine.I served this with Green Beans My Way.This will be made again, thank you for posting."Keep Smiling :)"

I found this to be a very easy and tasty dinner!! I only had two chops, so I didn't add the extra can of water - and it made a thick and tasty gravy. I cooked it in the crockpot on high for about 3 and 1/2 hrs.

Thumbs up from both myself and DH. Delicious, easy and fast. I ended up cooking it about an hour and a half because I added carrots and cut potatoes into larger chunks. I also used loin pork chops which are thicker than the center cut chops. I will definitely be making this one over and over again. Thank you Claudia.

What a great idea combining the soup with gravy mix!! Didn't have any regular mushroom soup in my pantry so I used a can of Campbell's Mushroom and Garlic soup and added one can of well-drained mushroom stems and pieces. I cooked the potatoes separately, mainly because my baking dish was not quite big enough. Thank you, Claudia for a delicious pork chop recipe, especially one so simple and tasty. Betcha it would work well with chicken, too.
