  • Combine all ingredients Do not sift
  • Press Dough evenly into a pie pan with hands.
  • Bake for 10 minutes in preheated 375 degree oven.
  • Add filling.

  1. This crust was easy to make and fine tasting, but extremely, extremely crumbly. The pie pieces I served looked pretty mangled by the time they got to the plate. Three out of four of us liked the flavor, though.
     
  2. This crust tastes very good, almost similar to graham cracker, but with a bit more of a molassas undertone. It is a little grainy, but not in an unpleasant sort of way. Will definately use for pie crusts in the future! Though I need to get the hang of pressing it into the pie pan so its a bit thinner. The crust was a tad thick on the bottom--which may be why I noticed the graininess.
