Doubled this recipe. Cooked Chicken (frozen), soup, onion and garlic in the crockpot on high this afternoon. This afternoon when the chicken was done shredded, I added the vegetables to the pot, mixed and then scooped into a 13*9 greased pan. Then I added 1/2 cup milk and mixed well. Last step was to top with tater tots. I will need to work on the spices but with the ease we will have again.

Love it! So easy to make. I, too, increased the soup and milk as you suggested. I added a little ground sage as well as the thyme and pepper. Since there are only two of us I divided it in two to make two casseroles and froze one.

I have made this recipe over and over again and we love it every time! We usually use tuna instead of chicken and it's great! I change it up with the "cream of" soups, sometimes we use cream of celery, mushroom or potato basically whatever we have on hand. This is definitely a regular at our house. I love the freezing tip, works great!

Very good. I did change it up a bit. I used cream of mushroom soup as I didn't have any cream of chicken soup. I also added salt, pepper and a handful of cheddar cheese to the chicken mixture. I used potato crowns instead of tator tots as that is what I had in the freezer. It says to put in an ungreased pan but I sprayed my pan with PAM before adding the mixture and am glad I did as it was starting to stick when I pulled it out of the oven (that may be because I added the cheese though). Very tasty and easy to make.

Yum! I love how the crispness of the tater tots complimented the saucy chicken and veggies.

Surprisingly good & easy. I didn't have frozen veggies, so I cooked it without them. I look forward to making it a 1 dish meal next time, by using the frozen veggies. My whole family loved it & gobbled it right up. Will definitely make again :) Thank you :)

I made this using the Condensed Cream Soup Substitute Condensed Cream of Soup Mix ( Homemade Substitute ) and it turned out very well. Added some thyme and sage which was quite nice too. Thx Sheri.

This was very good. Instead of the frozen mixed vegetables I used fresh cut up carrots which I steamed for a little while and then some frozen corn. DH and I both really enjoyed it.

I love tater tots and this looked like a unique way to use them. I really wanted to try this recipe because it sounded so good. However, I don't like canned cream soups so I used a 12 ounce jar of chicken gravy instead. We really enjoyed this, very flavorful and chock full of good veggies and chicken. So much better than any commercial pot pie, and no need to fuss with a crust.

Thankyou so much for a wonderful meal, instead of takeaway my kids want this. i have pastry on the bottom, i doubled the recipe so i used one can of cream of chicken and one can of cream of mushroom (just to break it up abit. for the vegies i added cooked cauliflower and corn (you dont even notice the cauliflower.. talk about hiding vegies for the kids ) my whole family loved it and i have had to make it for my mother when she came over and my sister and her family .. its awesome.. you definately have a winner with this one :) Thank you!!

Fantastic!! The kids loved it and was so easy to prepare, I used fresh vegies that I steamed first (sweet potato, carrots, celery, zucchini, potato and corn). Used a store bought cooked chicken and shredded 3/4 of it. Just threw all the ingredients into a large casserole dish, stirred to combine and topped with the potato balls. Omitted the garlic and onion as I am breast feeding - didn;t miss them though as the soup has enough seasoning. Will definatley make this again.

I made this last night for supper. Unfortunately, we thought it was bland. I did use olive oil for frying instead of butter and used pearl onions from the freezer. I guess I'll just have to try again later.

This was really delicious! I used 16 oz veggies and 1.4 lbs Alexia tater tots which are trans-fat free. Also, used heavy cream instead of milk because I had some to use up. This made the mix extra good, thick, and creamy! I did add 2 TBSP water to my onions and veggies to keep them from burning and I did not add the other ingredients until the veggies had heated. I did 1/4 tsp each of dried thyme and pepper. Thank you for such a tasty and neat-looking dish!!

This was great. I used 2 cans of mushroom soup and left the milk at 1/4 cup. I cooked my onion and garlic in a little broth. I made this earlier in the day and topped with tater tots, just before putting in the oven. This was a hit with the adults and kids alike. Thanks for the recipe.

My Family loves Chicken pot pie but i dont make it because it takes too long to make, this was fast and simple to make and everyone loved it! I doubled it knowing that I have 4 hungry mouths to feed. Will be making this again! Would be great for potlucks too!

This is tasty! I made it with Campbell's 98% fat free soup. I was disappointed by the small size of the final dish. I will double it from now on.

My family liked this more than me. I thought it was more like 4 stars. I thought I had thyme then realized in the middle of making I didn't so it was a little bland but totally my fault. I am going to make again because family enjoyed it. I had a cold when I made it so maybe it just didn't sit right with me but I want to try again when feeling better and definatley add the thyme. I used Ore-Ida onion tots, yummy!! I did double everything but the taters and used 16 oz of veggies & baked in a 9x13. Hubby really liked the fact it was tater tot hotdish but different than the standard ground beef we always have. Thanks
