Easy quick casserole to have when a large crowd comes to dinner, very tasty

This was good! I made a few modifications. I added 1 1/2 lbs of browned ground beef and omitted the first 1/2 cup of butter. I sauteed the onions and celery with the beef and only cooked for 30 minutes. My family loved this! Thank you!

Directions

  1. Defrost the potatoes.
  2. Combine the butter, salt, pepper, soup& sour cream.
  3. Mix hash browns with the onion, celery and cheese.
  4. Mix in the soup mixture.
  5. Pour into a greased 9x12" casserole dish.
  6. Mix butter& chips and sprinkle on top of the casserole.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes in a 350f oven or until the topping is golden.
