Surprise everyone! People will be so surprised when they find out the mystery ingredient in this tuna salad/spread...NO TUNA!
- 1 can garbanzo beans, drained
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons brown mustard
- 2 sliced green onions
- 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
- Pulse all ingredients in a food processor until chunky, about the consistency of tuna salad.
- Serve on toast or bread!
I just finished making this, and tasting it. I don't think you could trick me and make me think I was eating tuna, but it was good in a very unusual way for me! This is a very different recipe than I normally try and I don't even know what possessed me to try it. I whipped it all up and spread it on flat bread ... I was pleasantly surprised at the taste! (I do believe this is the first time I've had garbanzo beans! I bought a can especially for this recipe!) Thanks for broadening my horizons a bit!!
