My aunt emailed this to me a while ago. i tried it out and absolutely loved it.
- Melt peanut butter and add chocolate chips.
- melt and remove from heat.
- quickly stir in milk.
- pour at once into buttered oblong pan and refrigerate.
Or as the ancient recipe on the Reese's pb chips bag instructs, you can melt the chocolate chips and milk together, remove from heat, quickly stir in pb chips and spread in the pan. That is they way I have made it for years. :)
I had to use JifÂ®, Hershy's and Carnation brands plus 1/4 tsp of pure almond extract to get it to taste just like the Reese's cup.
The best part of this recipe is how quickly you can make it. I made 2 batches.One with Nestle Milk Chocolate Morsels the other with the Semi Sweet Chocolate Morsels pecans in both. We had it over the Christmas Holiday everyone loved them.
