This is the recipe from the "Spices of the World Cookbook by McCormick", which I believe is out of print. It is better than any commercial brand I've ever tried. I find the commercial brands either too sweet or too sour.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 34 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons minced pickles (I think kosher baby dills work best)
  • 2 teaspoons instant minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 14 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 14 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon capers, minced

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Refridgerate 1 hour to allow flavors to mingle.
