This is one of my favorite veggie sandwiches. Tastes best w/fresh garden grown tomatoes of course!
Make and share this TAO Sandwiches recipe from Food.com.
- 4 slices whole wheat bread (your choice)
- 1 large tomatoes, sliced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 3 -5 slices red onions
- 1 dash salt and pepper
- Spread mayo on bread.
- Layer ingredients and enjoy!
Just finished these sandwiches for lunch and we really enjoyed them. I didn't have red onion on hand so I used a sweet white onion. Wonderful sandwich. Thanks for sharing. :-)
Excellent sammich, and so simple I can't believe I'd never had it before. I used a little jalapeno salt and extra avocado (mine were kinda small). Thanks for sharing.
Wow, so simple but such a great flavor! A bit messy, though; definitely not something to try and eat in the car, lol. I might just have to try a bit of bacon on it, but that would be like icing on the cake; this is quite tasty the way it is. Thanks so much for posting!
