This is broccoli with a twist. Even broccoli haters will nibble at this, once they've tried it. Simple, easy, very tasty.

Directions

  1. Place broccoli and 1/3 cup water in a vented microwave dish, and cover.
  2. Cook 4 minutes on high.
  3. Stir.
  4. Sprinkle dressing mix over broccoli.
  5. Cook 4 minutes on high.
  6. Toss on cheese and cook 1-2 minutes more, only till cheese melts.
  7. Serve.

Yum! It was super easy and when I made it for Valentines' Day, my husband and I ate the entire recipe! We used reduced fat cheddar and it was very good.

3 for 3, we enjoyed this dish. I used fresh broccoli & used the sensor for vegys function on my microwave to gauge better for cooking time(s). I used abit less cheddar (2 oz vs 3 oz) & it was perfect for us. Nice flavours, thanks for sharing.

Very easy, and very good! I'm not sure I'd describe it as "tangy," but it definitely was delicious. More like a broccoli and cheese dish with a little something extra that you can't quite put your finger on.
