A wonderful tandoori dish

The details in this recipe aren't clear, but I did want to rate the marinade sauce. It was wonderful. I used it on boneless, skinless chicken breast and on tofu for the vegetarians. I used half the yogurt, so the spices were twice as concentrated. I used about 1 teaspoon salt and no pepper. Baked everything in a 400 degree oven for about 30 min until juices ran clear.

  1. Mix the yogurt, garlic and spices in a large bowl.
  2. Season with salt and whisk well.
  3. Add the chicken pieces, refrigerate and marinate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat your oven to its highest setting.
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place on a rack set over a baking sheet.
  6. Roast in the oven until the chicken is cooked through, about 20 minutes.
