  1. Soak the tamarind in 1 1/2 cups of water.
  2. Allow it to sit for 3-4 hours.
  3. After that, mash the tamarind to extract the pulp{juice}.
  4. Put this pulp, salt and sugar in a bowl and whisk thoroughly.
  5. Pass it through a thin cloth or metal sieve to sieve.
  6. Add rock salt and the roasted cumin to the tamarind juice.
  7. Blend well.
  8. Garnish with corriander and mint leaves.
  9. Add cold water, as needed, and refrigerate.
  10. Serve chilled in tall glasses.
  11. Enjoy!
