      I thought this was an ok dish. If I were to make it again I would probably double the chili powder, cumin, and cayenne to give it more flavor.

      This was a very good tamale pie! I just found that it needed some salt and after I sprinkled some on, it was much better. So next time I'll add about a half teaspoon of salt to the meat and a half teaspoon for the crust. I made as posted, except I used 1 pound ground beef, omitted the jalapeno and added an extra 1/8 of cayenne pepper. This was very tasty and satisfied our hunger. Thanks for posting Judy!
