Easy dip for last minute get togethers
- 1 (15 ounce) can chili, no beans
- 1 (15 ounce) can tamales
- 1 lb Velveeta cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- cayenne pepper
- Cube velveeta.
- place all ingredients in a sauce pan.
- Heat through and stir until melted.
- Serve with chips.
I love this dip. I chopped my tamales very small and they were just right! Added a bit more garlic. Made for the T-- P-A-R-T-Y Tag.
Really good! I used a can of chili with beans, and added about 1/4 tsp of cayenne. I sort of chopped up the tamales (don't forget to unwrap them) with my wooden spoon as the cheese was melting. I made this for DH & a friend during a Steelers game. Served with Fritos Scoops and hearty Tostitos gold chips. This is spicy but not too "hot," and creamy and delicious.
