I love to make my own hummus, and tahini is really expensive. But I made this recipe and then simply continued to make the rest of the hummus in the same blender! (I had to reduce the tahini recipe quite a bit of course) To make the hummus you just add chick peas (garbanzo beans), lime, garlic, oil and a little salt and pepper! Delicious!
Couldn't be easier--and a real lifesaver when one wants to cook something which calls for tahini. Moreover, economical--and can be made in relatively small quantities. Thanks, CG!
