We like these served open faced covered with taco toppings.
- Mix all together and shape into 6 patties.
- Grill or fry until desired doneness.
- Serve on toasted buns with your favorite taco toppings on the side.
Really good burger recipe. I just added a bit of garlic and a dash of tobasco. I used salsa and a whole package of taco seasoning. These turned out great. Sure beats the Mac thing!!
This was an excellent Mexican style burger that held together well on the BBQ. I topped with a Cheddar/Monterey Jack cheese combo during the last few minutes - just long enough to melt. Then I served burger style topped with lettuce, a little more salsa & hot peppers. Thanx Laurie!
Pretty darn good. I kind of wobbled about the milk, but jumped in and made the recipe as is, except I rolled them into cylinders somewhere between the size of a good beef hot dog and a bratwurst and grilled them, put them on brat buns and topped them with shredded Pepper Jack and Mexican blend shredded cheese, grated onion, diced tomato, lettuce, just a little diced jalapeno, sour cream, taco sauce and crushed nacho Doritos.
