Recipe by Broke Guy

A baked pizza version of one of my favorite foods. Can't get any better than this. Enjoy!!

Ingredients Nutrition

  • pizza dough (Enough to fill baking sheet)
  • 1 lb ground chuck or 1 lb ground turkey, to preference
  • 3 tablespoons taco seasoning, more if desired
  • olive oil, for spreading
  • 14 cup taco sauce (we use La Victoria)
  • 2 12-3 cups shredded cheese, mixture
  • 2 cups Baby Spinach, rinsed dried
  • 12 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 12 cup diced tomato
  • 1 avocado, cut into cubes
  • taco sauce and sour cream, for serving

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet or pizza stone. If using a baking sheet, spray lightly with non-stick spray or spread lightly with olive oil using a paper towel.
  3. Prepare ground chuck or turkey by cooking until brown and fully cooked. Drain the grease off of the meat and mix in taco seasoning until well combined. Set aside until ready.
  4. Sprinkle surface with flour first and roll dough out to desired size, adding more flour as needed. Place on baking sheet or pizza stone.
  5. Top the pizza dough, first with taco sauce and cheese, then with desired amount of meat, spinach and bell peppers.
  6. Cook pizza in prepared oven until spinach has shrunk and edges of dough are becoming golden brown (20-25 minutes).
  7. Remove pizza and top with remaining veggies.
  8. Serve pizza with sour cream and hot sauce on the side.
