What a wonderful pizza! This was the best taco pizza I've ever made and I think the reason was the mixture of refried beans and salsa for the pizza sauce. I've made taco pizza before and (for the sauce under the meat) used salsa one time and enchilada sauce one time. Both times we thought the pizza was a bit blah. I guess it's true that the third time's a charm! I cut this recipe in half and added some green onions on top of the chips and under the cheese. And I used Monterey Jack Cheese instead of cheddar, just for personal preference. This is definitely going into my "Keeper" cookbook. Thanks so much for posting, Looneytunsfan!

This is soooooooo goooood. I love taco pizza and it is hard to find a good one. I dusted the crusts with cornmeal before baking to add a mexican taste to them. I also left off the lettuce as it is messy. Great pizza. Definately will make again!

I think this recipe came from Taste of Home, but I don't recall. I love this recipe too, but I used the Boboli prebaked crusts which I did not like. They were extremely expensive and lacking in flavor. Next time I make this I'll go with a homemade pizza dough instead of the prebaked crust. Besides the prebaked crust, this is wonderful!

I made pizza dough in my bread machine for this recipe.... my DH and I loved it. Had some extra of the bean & salsa mixture which was excellent by itself with tortilla chips. We also put black olives on it the pizza. Will definately be making this again!

My family and I really enjoyed this pizza. I used boboli crusts (1 large and 2 small). It was easy to make, and each one of us individualized our pizzas by adding fresh toppings after it was cooked. I served it with chopped tomatoes, lettuce, chopped onions, and sour cream. I brought a leftover slice and it reheated nicely. This is a keeper. Thanks looneytunesfan.
