what a hit! i had to add a little more water than what the recipe called for because the consistency just looked a little too dry. i usually make this with black beans, rice, guacamole, and creme fresh and roll it all into burritos. so long taco seasoning packets!

Awesome taco meat. I really didn't think I'd like it over the "packaged" seasoning, but I sure did. Our family eats a lot of tacos so I was hesitant in changing it up. Now we've got a new taste! Thanks for sharing.

sorry this just wasn't for us. the only thing i did differently was i cooked the meat then drained off the fat, then i added the seasonings, 1/2 of the flour and water. the chili powder was a little over powering, it was still edible with all the taco fixins but not quite what we are used to.

I just cooked the meat, drained, added the spices, water and flour. Cooked til heated. I salted the hamburger while cooking meat with the salt skaker instead of measuring out salt. Almost tasted like Taco Bell meat with the same consistency which we like. We got hot salsa for those of us who prefer a more spicy taco. Will make these again.

I found this taco meat extremely salty. I don't know if I did something wrong since everyone else seems to like it, but if I make it again I will definitely cut back or cut out all of the salt. I also only used 1/8 cup flour and the texture was great.

I used a pound of ground turkey and it turned out great! Would definitly make again but would use a little less flour and add a bit more chili powder and cumin.
