A nice flavorful taco meat that can be used for tacos, nachos and other dishes to give the beef a lil taco inspired kick! Can also be kept warm in crock pot for parties and leftovers are just as delicious!

  1. Spray pan with cooking spray. The leaner the meat the more oil is needed to prevent burning. Fattier meats might not even need oil.
  2. Put beef and onion in pan and season with salt and pepper. Brown beef with onion on medium-high heat.
  3. Reduce to medium heat. Add salsa and stir in completely.
  4. Add taco seasoning packet and stir in completely. If more flavor is desired season additionally with cayenne pepper, chili powder, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  5. After everything is mixed in, turn heat to simmer taco mixture for 15 to 20 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let sit 5 minutes before serving.
