I've made this several times to use in chicken or cheese quesadillas. Since the first time, I cut the sugar and cumin back by half, and use half mayo and half sour cream, which I think gives it a better texture. It definitely needs to be made ahead by at least a few hours for the flavors to blend.

Everyone loved this one. I cut the pepper in half for the kids and the sugar in half as per other reviews but otherwise followed the recipe.

Very good but didn't need the American cheese, would have been good without. Loved the sauce.

I absolutely loved it. I love spicy dishes, so I thought it was great, but I agree it is spicy for little ones or non-spice eaters. Great job, thank you so much for a yummy and easy to make <br/>dish :)

These were amazing! I cooked our chicken in a grill pan and then once done, used the same pan to heat the tortillas, made for some nice markings and they were nice and crunchy. The sauce was just the right heat. One very enjoyable meal.

This recipe is good! The sauce tastes legit. All I did differently is halved the jalapenos (that were sliced), but I kept the jalapeno liquid the same. Made for a very satisfying bite at the end. Hope yall enjoy as much as we do!

I would recommend using cottage cheese instead of mayo, everything else is perfect!

I don't know if this really tastes like Taco Bell because I've not had Quesadillas from Taco Bell but they were excellent. My family loved these. I seasoned and grilled three chicken breasts and doubled everything else to make 8 Quesadillas. The sauce was spicy but really made the dish exceptional. This is a keeper!

Wowee!!!! What a great recipe. The sauce is spectacular and is a great condiment for many a Mexican dish. I did though increase the amount of the cumin, garlic powder, and paprika. I also added chili powder a dash of hot sauce and very little cayenne due to my girls dislike for very hot food. Instead of salt I added Goya adobo seasoning mix. Didn't add the jalepeno's or the jalepeno juice because I didn't have any but I've used a touch of vinegar and at another time I've added lime juice. How my kids adore this recipe, even hubbie, son and daughter who declare to hate mayonnaise! What they don't know won't hurt them:) They like to use it as a dipping sauce for quesadillas and plain tortilla shells. Thanks 89240 for posting a WINNER!
