I loved these and the flavor was great. Enjoyed the jalapeno bite it had. My boys' are young and thought it was too spicy so may scale down a little for them.

Fantastic recipe! I made 8 servings, but took the advice of other reviewers that it was a little too spicy, so I only used the amount of jalapeños and cayenne for the 4 serving size, and it came out DELICIOUS! My entire family loved it.. including my 6 year old! Will definitely make again.. and definitely pass it on. Thank you!

THis ones a keeper! It was way better than Taco bells and so simple to make! My kids asked for more even though it was way to spicy for them! Next time i will add barely any jelapenos. Thanks for sharing this amazing recipe!

The jalapeno sauce tastes very much like Taco Bell's sauce if Taco Bell's wasn't processed and probably full of about 1,000 chemicals. Very fresh and delicious! The quesadillas were yummy, even though I didn't have any American cheese and just made them with the cheddar & pepper jack. I used the cooked-then-frozen chicken breast cubes from Tyson (just heated & shredded), and it was a really good & super fast dinner!

Let me say that the kids HATED the mayo mixture before I added to the dish. HOWEVER, I decided to make it anyway. Let me say that nothing was left! The only change I made was to add a bit of olive oil to pan to warm shells and didn't add jalapeno since I was out and thought it'd be too hot for the kids anyway. Since my kids(9,5,2) are finicky, I added a thin layer of mayo mixture to theirs. As for me, I added etra mixture since that is what makes this dish stand apart. Don't know how close this is to the TB version but delicious nonetheless. Thanks for sharing!

I made this for my adult son for Christmas. This is his favorite taco bell food. He loved it and was thrilled that I found the recipe for him. Thank you.

My husband LOVED this recipe, exactly as is. However, I would have gone with a bit less cumin & a dash less sugar. The cumin taste was a bit overpowering, and the sugar made the sauce a little too sweet. I can definitely tell that this is reminiscent of Taco Bell's quesadilla sauce, but I have a feeling that if the above adjustments were made, it would be just like it, but better. The fresh ingredients make a huge difference. I'm rating it 3 stars because, as it's written, it's not my favorite, but I think it has a lot of potential.

They're alright but the title is misleading as they taste absolutely nothing like Taco Bell's chicken quesadillas.

very good, I used ground beef sautéed with taco seasoning, and it turned out great.

Even with the low-fat adjustments I made, including low-fat soybean based mayo, low-fat cheeses and a chicken substitute (we are vegetarians), this was very filling. Nevertheless we each ate a whole one and my BF and I both thought the taste was great. I only used a pinch of cayenne but thought it could have used a bit more. I'd make this again. An easy weeknight supper with a side of veggies or a salad.

Family loved this recipe! I have never had a Taco Bell quesadilla so I can't compare it to that, but it was cheesy and delicious. We made them to suit individual tastes; one as written, one with just cheese, one with black beans. Thanks!

The family loved this recipe! I do wish i had made the sauce ahead of time to allow the flavors to settle but we found this all in all to be way better than Taco Bells item. Very easy to customize with adding other ingredients in with or in lieu of the chicken. Will definately be making again!

The sauce is now a must-have any time we make a mexican dish. Its my DH's favorite flavoring from Taco Bell, and he hates that he can't convince them to add it to their tacos or burritos. I like it way better than using taco sauce.

These were a big hit at our house today. My toddlers ate them up like crazy. I have a new recipe for Quesadillas. We don't like jalapenos or anything too hot so I subbed some taco sauce for the jalapeno juice. I also put the cheese and meat on one tortilla then put the sauce on another and put on top. It seemed easier then trying to spread the sauce on the half while it was in the pan.

We loved these! We thought they were even better than Taco Hell's because the chicken wasn't all gristly and we could add more cheese and sauce and actually make them edible. Thanks for this great recipe! We will totally be making them again!

Just wanted to say thank you for posting and sharing this recipe. OMG the sauce really kicked up my chicken cheese quesadillas. I had left over sauce and hubby put it on all of his sandwiches and meats entrees that we had. He made more for own hamburgers today. He loves it and so do I. I made the recipe as written except that I used 2 tortillas like a grilled cheese sandwich because hubby is a good eater. And I could not find my cayenne so I used some Tapitio Hot Sauce. Thank you again.

The first one I bit into was like WOW! It tasted very much like Taco Bell's quesadillas, which I love. After that first piece, though, it lost its spice. I think omitting the sugar would make it better, as the background was just too sweet and overtook the spice. I would definitely make these again, and probably use another reviewer's sugestion of making the sauce ahead of time so the flavors can meld.

These are just like Taco Bell's but better! My husband loves loves loves them and declares me awesome! I did double the sauce the second time I made them because we like it saucy and used rotisserie chicken. Delicious!

These were amazing! My husband love Taco Bells and he asked that I try to find a recipe that was like theirs. He kept telling me, "these are AWESOME! Even the sauce looks the same!" the entire time. Great find.
