Taco Beef Mixture

Derfette's Note:

I use this mixture for tacos, taco salad, and beef enchiladas. It's our 'all-around' taco meat mixture. Not sure on the servings/yield...never measured it before.

• Prep Time: 5 mins
• Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients:

Serves: 1

Yield: 4.0 cups

• 1 lb ground chuck
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon chili powder
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
• 1/2 teaspoon oregano
• 1 tablespoon flour
• 1 1/3 cups tomato sauce, mix with water to get total measurement

Directions:

1. brown meat and drain.
2. add onion and garlic, stir to coat and cook on HI for 4 minutes.
3. add remaining ingredients and cook on HI for 3 minutes.
4. continue cooking on MED for 7-8 minutes.
