When I first started dating my husband, we met for drinks at a restaurant/bar and I guy I had dated about a year previously happened to be there and sent me this drink. My now DH wasn't real happy with this guy but I enjoyed the drink. Thanks for bringing back memories from more than 25 years ago, lol!!! Made for Holiday Tag Game.
What a treat. This goes down way too easy. I made a half recipe and then had to make another half! My layers did not come out too well, but it sure tasted great!
Never had a B52 with Grand Marnier. Come to think of it, I never had a B52 period. This was fantastic! The Baileys floated at the top, but mix it a bit to get the full flavor. Best of all, I have leftovers to drink for X-mas day. Took down an ornament from my tree to photo with the drink. Don't drink too many, very fattening. Can make no sense at all of the directions, but if you can't mix a drink then what can you do?
A great after dinner drink! Yum!
We really enjoyed this simple drink after dinner last night. Flavors went together so well. Thanks Annacia
As my headache today attests, I love B52s! I've had them at various locations and all use Amaretto rather than Grand Marnier, so I think your recipe is right on. Much to my liver's dismay, I'll be making these at home now too!.
I layered the alcools like a B-52. But it's weird cause I got a blue layer. On each photos I took it was blue. Maybe I'll try to do it again to see if it still turns blue. The taste is delicious. Thanks Annacia :)
This is wonderfully delicious!
It's too bad there aren't more stars to award this delicious drink! I made this in a cocktail shaker w/ice and served over ice. Perfection! Thank you, Annacia!
This was a great B-52! I loved the Amaretto in place of the Grand Marnier. It is smooth and buttery as it goes down. If you add vodka you would have an orgasm :)
