Swiss Turkey Burger

"This is from the "George Foreman Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine Cookbook." I usually make it on the stove top. This is pretty darn tasty for a turkey burger."

  1. Really good! No one in the family really likes turkey burgers, but they all loved these. Cheese mixed in made them moist and flavorful. Too wet to cook on the grill, I used the GF with great results. Increased the recipe to use 1 1/2 pounds turkey and made 7 large patties. Next time I'll try 5 patties with the original recipe. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

  2. Yum! Wish I had tried this recipe sooner. I do believe it has become my favorite turkey burger recipe. Easy, juicy and flavorful. Thanks for posting this recipe!

  3. This burger came out moist and delicious! Made three changes to recipe: didn't have Swiss so used cheddar, used Ritz crackers instead of bread crumbs, & added a dash of worcestershire sauce. I will definitely make this again!!

  4. This is the best turkey burger I have ever had. I served on toasted onion rolls with sauteed mushrooms/onions. I didn't have a block of Swiss to grate so I just used a slice on top of the burger. I used 85/15 ratio ground turkey, panko crumbs, and added 1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce to the mix. I pan fried 3 minutes per side instead of using the Foreman since I had a hot skillet after toasting the onion rolls. This is a terrific turkey burger and it is much better than most beef burgers.

  5. I love turkey burgers! Made with Panko and honey mustard and cooked on my GF grill, this was delicious. Thanks for sharing CipherBabe. Made for PAC Spring 2010.
