Directions

  1. Mix the sugar, baking soda, cream of tartar, and light cream in a bowl.
  2. Heat to approximately 245°F (be sure to keep stirring it).
  3. Remove it from heat just before it starts boiling.
  4. Add the butter, pecans, and vanilla; stir well.
  5. Place onto wax paper
  6. Form medium-sized pieces with caramel and the pecans.
  7. Cool and enjoy!
