  1. I reduced this down to 50 servings and made it yesterday. I used upto 8tsps. of this in 1 mug of boiling water. However, I still felt it required more sugar. I'll add more next time. Maybe that should help it improve.

  2. I also changed the servings to 20 as I am the only one that drinks coffee regularly. Dark chocolate is my favorite so I enjoyed the deeper flavor of the cocoa but the mix needed a little something more. I didnt want it sugary sweet so I added some hazelnut biscotti coffee creamer and that worked great. I used 2 tablespoons of mix for one mug of coffee. Thank you wildheart for posting this recipe! Made and reviewed for Comfort Cafe.

  3. Made for Comfort Cafe 2009 I reduced to 20 servings to accomodate only me as I am the lone coffee drinker in the house.I am sipping some as I review. I used 1/4 c instant coffee, 1/4 c sugar. 1 c powdered milk, 1/8 c cocoa. I like it well enough. I did add to my individual c some coffee creamer to thicken it up or make more creamy and it was to my taste more. I plan to make this instead of buying from now on as with the reduced amount it is still less expensive than the store bought and with the added creamer it is really good. Thank you Wildheart. saved to favorites!

  4. This makes a nice gift! I mixed up a batch and it filled up 2 glass jars nicely. I totally recommend blending it in the blender as it makes it a nice silky powder as opposed to being chunky before blending (and not so pretty). I increased the sugar slightly and it tasted pretty good to me. It's strong flavored because of the unsweetened cocoa but that's the way I like it. :-) Thanks for the nice gift idea!

Still in West Virginia but we've moved a few miles away, down to the county capitol. It's a compromise: bigger than our last town but smalelr than the "big city" of Cumberland MD, right up the road. Jobs are not that plentiful here so I am fortunate to be able to work at home (I'm a writer). My passion is cooking and feeding people family well....my pet peeve is the family court systems in America......my love is for emergency medicine and the people that make survival in a crisis possible
