another bread recipe with a zip
- 1 1⁄4 cups beer
- 2⁄3 cup shredded swiss cheese
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 3 3⁄4 cups bread flour
- 2 1⁄4 teaspoons dry yeast
- add ingredients, in this order to bread machine.
- cook on"basic" cycle.
Terrific bread recipe! The nice brown crust surrounds a really moist center. I had to eat a piece as soon as it came out of the bread machine with a little butter. Great! Served this with soup tonight, great combination. This is going to make fabulous toast for morning!
This turned out delish with a beautiful tangy flavor and nice brown crunchy crust. Went great with the smoked ham my hubbie made on the grill. The grilled ham sandwiches the next day were great too! I did add a bit extra swiss cheese. Thanks for the great recipe!
I have made this over a half a dozen times so far and everyone has loved it. I did end up modifying it a little, twice the sugar and oil to make it a little more moist. This is definately going to be one of my regular breads. Thanks very much!!
