This is my favorite salad dressing now, I use it on everything. It's especially amazing on cherry tomato halves with fresh basil and sliced fresh mushrooms!

Beyond easy to put together. I did find it a bit too sweet though. I added a lot more vinegar to cut the sweetness. Next time I will cut the sugar by half at least. But sure was fast and easy to do. Thanks Mirjam
Here's a new one for ya, Mirj... I made a small amount of this to taste it. The sugar remained granular after I mixed it, so I popped it in the microwave briefly and stirred well again. When I tasted it, I remember the chopped peanuts I had and mixed some in. It was so delicious! I could see having over a dessert (even with the black pepper mixed in). I'll bet there's at least 50 uses for your fun dressing! Thanks!
This tastes so good but I found it was too thin and came off the salad leaves in the bowl because of that. I can imagine its at its very best on sweet tomatoes fresh from the garden and with fresh basil and maybe a little crushed garlic and chopped small capers. I'm not sure if I went by the same amounts of each ingredient but I did it to taste even without pepper or anything else. I used dark brown sugar. I would make this again if I could tweak it to be a bit thicker or if I was doing a tomato only salad.
