Ingredients Nutrition

  • 2 slices bacon
  • 1 cup minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2 cups canned green beans, reserve 3/4 cup liquid from cans beans
  • 14 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Brown bacon until crisp. Remove.
  2. Cook onion in bacon grease.
  3. Stir in flour.
  4. Add vegetable liquid,vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil and add in beans.
  6. Heat through, then top with bacon and serve.
