Sweet & Sour Meatballs

This is our family favorite. You'll want to halve the sauce ingredients if you're serving them as an appetizer. We love them over rice.

Made these to share with a neighbor, & after a nice indulgent taste-test, froze my half of the meatballs for another meal (a meal that I'm so looking forward to)! For what it's worth, I used dark molasses & even included the entire measure of Tabasco sauce (surprise, surprise!) & absolutely enjoyed these VERY TASTY buggers! Thanks for a keeper of a recipe!   1. Gently combine all of the meatball ingredients.
  2. Form small, bite-size meatballs, dredge in flour and brown in vegetable oil.
  3. Combine the sauce ingredients and pour over the meatballs.
  4. Bring to a low simmer and cook for 20 minutes until the meatballs are glazed and cooked through.
