This is yummy! Not too sweet. I did add extra powdered sugar which I made myself in a coffee grinder to be corn free since DH was eating this with plain Balkan (thick) yogurt but it was perfect sweetness alone in the amount stated. For a fast sweet rice this is good. DH ate it up but since it wasn't puddingy I'm not sure it was his favorite. Made for Veggie Swap 26 ~ September 2010.

This is fantastic!! I will be quite honest normally when I try to make a rice pudding I'm the punch line of jokes for years (just ask my Dad) but this worked out so well! I am wondering if it is because it does not use milk and uses water instead?? All that really matters is this is punched up with wonderful flavor of the cinnamon and cooks up perfectly!! Thanks SV for sharing a recipe I can truly make again and be confident it will turn out great!! Glad I tagged you in Went to the Market Tag Game.

Great comfort food! I loved this ... apparently my dear kids don't do sweet rice of any kind. This was every bit as good as Mom's rice pudding but did not have the milk component. I will definitely make this again. Thanks for sharing! Made for ZWT6.
