- 1 medium red onion, cut vertically and then thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Mix together and chill for several hours before serving.
- Use within 48 hours.
