Twenty years ago while making a huge Thanksgiving dinner for a crowd I decided to go overboard with my regular, ho-hum candied yams. I just kept adding things to them. Everyone loved them and we ran out quick.

  1. Melt butter and cool
  2. Mix together potatoes, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and milk. Put into 13x9 baking dish.
  3. For topping, melt and cool butter. Add all other topping ingredients; mix well.
  4. Sprinkle over the potato mixture.
  5. Bake at 350°F about 25 minutes.
